Men's Ministry Web site

Pure For Him

This web site is designed to provide a resource to help keep our Men at FBC Doylestown focused on and Pure For our LORD and Savour Jesus Christ who died so that we may live. We men ALL need accountability, prayer, love and fellowship from other men to challenge one another to be pure and more like Him. Consider the following verse and let it motivate you to give 100 percent of yourself for the LORD and his work.

"Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds . Let us not give up meeting together , as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Hebrews 10:19-25

8 Week Summer 2009 Study
What the Bible Says about Heaven

Location/Time: 7:45 PM in Room 203 in the Church

Teacher/Leader: Joe Drenth

Format: Large Group lecture and discussion with possibly small group if group gets large enough

Description: We will investigate and discuss the direct and indirect information the Bible provides about Heaven, including its physical properties, relationships among its inhabitants, activities carried on there, and what an eternal kingdom with Jesus as its Leader will be like. We hope to dispel incorrect stereotypes of Heaven that our culture and the Deceiver use to discourage and mislead Believers and replace them with the Truth from the Bible that Heaven and the New Earth are real, wonderful places where there are adventures ;to share, where there is satisfying work to be done for the King of Kings, and where the original purpose and full potential of humankind are finally realized.

We hope to have a mission statement for Men's Ministries
Schedules of events
A "Helping Hands" program has been suggested to be added as a new ministry for Men to provide odd job help to widows or sick or financially or physically unable to afford or do work around their house. This would be a service to the community at FBC, but more importantly, the community at large.
Links to other web sites or sub web sites we have either developed or are recommending for our men to review.
